As I understand the Native American Culture has predicted damage to our planet because we as human beings have not honored Mother Earth. Growing up near the Atlantic Ocean with a mother ahead of her time, I knew the importance of respecting our environment. As my mother would also do when someone threw a soda bottle in the ocean, she would have them fetch and put it in a barrel. I taught both my children to respect Mother Earth. My son who traveled the world as a gifted writer always respecting others' customs, and cultures. We are all connected from one source, God, the Divine.
