Time as we know it is an illusion because as far as the Universe, there is no such thing as time. We live in a constantly evolving Galaxy.

One of the great mystics of this century was Edgar Cayce, who was able to tap into the Akashic records which holds each soul's history; past, present, and future. 

What this tells me is that the present moment is what we should be focusing on, not past, or future, but now!
